According to a detailed analysis by the Perryman Group. of the impacts of the uninsured population on all counties of Texas, the economic benefits associated with the care provided by Midland Community Healthcare Services to indigent (uninsured) patients brings total economic benefits to the area of $136 million in annual gross area product and 560 jobs. These gains derive from a variety of sources including medical services, reductions in taxpayer funded care, and improvements to productivity.
